Great Graffiti I found while on the Metro to the Hostel
Why I went to Paris:
I go to an art and design school called MIAD. Located in Milwaukee, WI. The school is located down town by the third ward, which is one of the most artistic parts of town besides Bayview and some parts of Riverwest area. Milwaukee has awesome galleries, artists and designers.
Paris was one of the summer program trips that students had the opportunity to go on. Ireland was the other choice. I chose Paris, because it is one of my life long dreams and I wanted to experience class out side the walls of MIAD. I wanted a different learning experience and let me tell you I got one. The students I got to spend time with were amazing. The teachers were lively and experienced. I had an amazing group of people to work with and talk design with.
The trip was about 2 weeks long. We all joke around and say that it was like a boot camp, but it was worth walking all day long and seeing almost all there is to see. It was amazing to see the structures and paintings that we usually see in our text books.
Experience of a life time. No Doubt.
Flight over with 2 good friends.
How I came across Paris.
Paris. Yes, Paris. I was there and I loved every part of it. This is the one city that I have been dreaming about ever since I can remember. Movies or books may have inspired me, but every time I saw a bathroom set that was Paris themed I knew I belonged there. Seems ridiculous to say a bathroom themed Paris bathroom pushed me towards Paris, but I think that is what inspires us the most, the ridiculous things in life.
